You are 100% right. It was pretty much her first, live televised performance, but not a great start for those who’ve never heard of her.

Whenever I saw her perform on SNL, she just seemed really awkward. I’m not saying she’s not talented, but that performance kind of gave her a bad start to more popularity, or so I thought :x

I’ve been so into Lana del Rey since her release of Blue Jeans and I’ve been looking forward to a full length album from her ever since.

Born to Die is a great start

but bb’s gotta step up her live game if she’s gonna build a fan base besides the bloggers (who love to hate her) and internet fandom.

She obviously has talent

She’s obviously beautiful (if a little fake)

She just needs to find that transition from internet/indie starlet to newest “pop” obsession

Basically I love Lana, I just hope she’s able to turn this pretty good album into a pretty great career.

I’ve been in love with Lana del Rey for a hot minute and I really hope this upcoming album is actually great and isn’t just a repeated cycle of video games/blue jeans/diet mtn dew. All these are great but I wanna hear something slightly different from her. She’s gorgeous and has an amazing voice, I just really pray her hype isn’t something conceived solely out of the fact she is a New York socialite/youtube goddess.
